PRIVACY INFORMATION
Your privacy matters.
How information submitted through this website and checkout is handled. Last updated 12 October 2026.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Clear purposes. Careful handling.
Only share details needed for your enquiry. We may request additional information privately if required for an agreed service.
Who controls your information?
GadgetBar, led by Philip Amo-Adei, handles website enquiries. For privacy questions or rights requests, email info@gadgetbar.co.uk or call +44 7310 297329.
Information customers provide
Enquiry forms collect your name, email, optional phone number, postcode, device details and enquiry. Buyback and trade-in enquiries also collect storage and condition. WooCommerce checkout collects contact, billing and delivery details and records the products you order. Do not submit passwords, bank details or full device identifiers in an enquiry.
Why information is used
We use enquiries to respond and take steps you request before agreeing a service. We use legitimate interests to handle general business enquiries and protect forms from abuse. We use information for agreed services, warranty support and applicable legal obligations.
Providers and payments
Enquiries are saved privately in WordPress for authorised administrators. Website hosting supports storage, and business email supports replies and notifications. WooCommerce stores order information needed to fulfil purchases and provide support. Stripe processes the supported payments shown at checkout; card details are entered through the payment provider, not an enquiry form. Our enquiry forms do not automatically send records to a CRM.
Storage, retention and transfers
We retain information while needed to handle your enquiry, provide an agreed service, support applicable warranty claims and meet legal recordkeeping requirements. Contact us about deletion of an enquiry you no longer wish to pursue.
Your rights and marketing
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction, object to processing, or request portability. Contact info@gadgetbar.co.uk. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up to marketing.
Cookies and analytics
WordPress and WooCommerce support essential account and basket functions. Google measurement tags are also configured through Site Kit. Read our cookie information for details, and contact info@gadgetbar.co.uk with privacy questions.
