Your warranty starts when the repair is completed. Your statutory rights are additional to this cover.

Know your warranty.
12 months
Aftermarket OLED screen replacements and other eligible hardware repairs. Cover applies to fitted parts and workmanship.
3 months
Genuine and refurbished screen replacements. Cover applies to the fitted screen and workmanship.
Liquid-damaged devices are excluded from standard cover unless specific cover is agreed in writing. Refurbished-device purchases and accessories have separate product terms.
SECTION A
Warranty terms.
What is covered, how to make a claim and the conditions that apply to your repair.
1. What the warranty covers
If a fitted replacement part fails because of a manufacturing defect, or our workmanship is at fault, we will repair or replace the affected part at no charge within the applicable warranty period.
Aftermarket OLED screen replacements: 12 months. Genuine and refurbished screen replacements: 3 months. Other eligible hardware repairs carry 12 months of cover on fitted parts and workmanship. Your warranty starts on the date the repair is completed. The chosen part and applicable cover are recorded in your repair confirmation.
2. Support when you need it
Contact us if a repaired device develops a problem. We will explain how the claim will be assessed and agree any visit or postal arrangements with you.
Putting right a fault covered by this warranty is free of charge. If the fault is not covered, we will explain any proposed assessment, visit, repair or courier charge before you agree to it.
3. Liquid damage
Devices with existing liquid damage may develop further or unrelated faults. Repairs to these devices are excluded from our standard commercial warranty unless specific cover is agreed in writing before the repair.
Any limited cover, including its duration and exclusions, will be set out in your repair confirmation. Your statutory rights still apply.
4. Software issues
This warranty covers the hardware repair we carried out. It does not cover unrelated software problems, app crashes, software-related battery drain or faults arising from an operating-system update.
This does not exclude responsibility for a problem caused by our failure to carry out the agreed repair with reasonable care and skill.
5. Data and backups
Please back up your device before handing it over. Data may be lost during a repair, particularly where liquid damage or logic-board faults are involved, and we cannot promise that existing data will be recoverable.
We will take reasonable care of your device and data. This condition does not exclude liability where data loss results from our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.
6. How to make a warranty claim
Email info@gadgetbar.co.uk or message us on WhatsApp: 07761 803605. Include your name, repair reference if available, device model, repair completion date and a description of the fault.
Clear photos or a short video may help us assess the issue. Do not send device passwords or sensitive personal information. We will explain the assessment and next steps.
7. Part quality options
Available part options are explained with your quote. Depending on the device, these may include genuine, refurbished or aftermarket parts. Your selected option and warranty period will be confirmed before work begins.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship. It does not promise features or performance that were not part of the option agreed with you. Parts must still match their description and meet applicable legal standards.
8. Visit, courier and cancellation charges
Any call-out, out-of-area or courier charge will be explained and agreed before you book. Any proposed charge for assessing a fault outside warranty cover will also be explained in advance.
If you need to cancel or rearrange, contact us as soon as possible. Any applicable cancellation terms or charges must be disclosed before booking and remain subject to your statutory cancellation rights.
9. Screen faults and accidental damage
Cover includes faults caused by a defective fitted screen or our workmanship, such as unresponsive or ghost touch, flickering or unexpected blackouts.
It does not cover cracks, dead pixels, lines, colour bleeding or other faults caused by subsequent dropping, bending, pressure, impact, excessive heat or moisture. Each screen is tested when fitted.
We assess the cause of the reported fault. Physical damage does not remove your rights in relation to a separate defect or defective workmanship.
10. Third-party repairs
Please contact us before another repairer works on the device so we can assess the problem.
We do not cover damage or faults caused by a subsequent third-party repair or unauthorised modification. Another repairer opening the device does not automatically cancel cover for an unrelated defect in our original repair, or remove your statutory rights.
11. Repair times and updates
The expected repair time will be discussed when you book. More complex work, liquid damage, further diagnosis or ordering parts may take longer.
If the expected completion time changes, we will explain the delay and agree the next steps. Let us know about any urgent requirements before booking; availability and completion times must be confirmed.
12. If the fault returns
If the same covered fault returns during the applicable warranty period, we will reassess it at no charge and explain the appropriate next step.
If we identify a new or unrelated fault, we will explain it and provide a quote before starting any additional paid work. Your statutory remedies remain available where applicable.
13. Accidental damage and wear
The commercial warranty does not cover new accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised modifications or normal wear and tear after the repair.
A fault is not excluded simply because it appears during normal use: we assess whether it results from a defective fitted part, our workmanship or an excluded cause.
SECTION B
General service conditions.
Clear quotes, agreed work and your rights as a customer.
14. Accurate device details and quotes
Repair prices depend on the device model, fault and selected part. If the device or fault differs from the information provided, the quote may need to change.
We will explain any revised price and obtain your agreement before carrying out additional work.
15. How we communicate
Use info@gadgetbar.co.uk or WhatsApp: 07761 803605 for repair enquiries, updates and warranty support.
We will explain the next steps and agree appointment arrangements with you. A message or enquiry does not by itself confirm a repair appointment.
16. Your legal rights
This commercial warranty is additional to your rights under UK consumer law. Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, and supplied parts must meet applicable requirements, including being as described.
Where a service does not meet the contract, you may be entitled to repeat performance or an appropriate price reduction, depending on the circumstances. Nothing in these conditions removes or restricts your statutory rights, and those rights may continue after the commercial warranty expires.
17. Reviewing and agreeing the conditions
Please review these conditions and the applicable Booking Terms & Conditions before booking. Keep your quote and repair confirmation, which identify the agreed service, parts option, price and warranty.
If you have questions about your cover or any proposed charge, ask us before work begins. We will explain what is included.
